Creative & Inspirational Books Every Girl Should Read in 2017

Is everyone excited to get the new year going? I have some book suggestions for you to read that are personal favourites to get your new year started on the right foot.

I’ve heard a lot of people saying that 2016 was a hard year; and it’s true, there is no denying that. We felt more stumbles last year than we normally do, especially in the external world. Recent events really pushed everyone to wake up.

Recently I was thinking about how I want to feel entering the new year, thank you Danielle La Porte. The first words that came to mind were joyful and inspired. This last year, I found myself getting into comparison mode instead of giving myself credit for everything I had achieved.

The best thing you can do is create work that makes you happy and not worry if it falls into the “status quo.”

I believe if you are putting your passion into something you love, someone will take notice of it.

Books You Should Read - The Littlest Fry

Alright, we are nearly finished 2016 so lets send it off with good vibes as we prepare for the new year. I am admittedly a bit of an information junkie, what can I say, I’m a Gemini. I put together a group of my favourite books that I think will help you start off 2017 with some pizzazz.

The Littlest Fry Booklist

1- styled by emily henderson 2- the desire map 3- quiet: the power of introverts in a world that can’t stop talking 4- talking as fast as I can (lauren graham) 5- in the company of women 6- oh she glows everyday 7- there is no right way to meditate 8- i want my hat back 9- you are a badass 10- the girl with the lower back tattoo

I could easily go on about why each and every one of these books inspires me. At the very least, this selection of books has given me the inspiration to go out in the world and be a creative, healthy badass, and to not forget to laugh along the way.
